I am Adrian, the CEO at Darumatic. Our company name is inspired by the Japanese god of persistence, 'Daruma,' who never gives up regardless of the challenges he faces. At Darumatic, we strongly believe that we can assist you in releasing safer and more stable code at a faster pace than ever before.
Back in 2006, I worked for one of the largest American telcos as a part of a team of 20 developers. Updating the source code from others' work was often a challenging task, as it would frequently result in broken system functionality or code that wouldn't compile at all. I refused to accept this situation and kept telling myself that there had to be a better way.
Fortunately, I came across Martin Fowler's influential article on 'Continuous Integration,' which showed me the way. That's when my DevOps heart was born. I successfully installed my first CI server and developed my own automated testing tool, which significantly improved my team's productivity and code quality. Later on, I had the opportunity to work in different companies across two other continents, and I continued to explore the power of automation, CI, and DevOps for enhancing productivity and achieving dramatic improvements in code quality.

Felix Schmitz

CTO

I am Felix, the CTO at Darumatic. My passion for software began in primary school, and I continued to explore and learn more about it throughout my academic years. During high school, I served as the class treasurer and taught myself Turbo Pascal to develop software that kept track of payments. After that, I learned Java and gained expertise in building object-oriented software.
After completing my studies and working as an intern at IBM in Germany for three years, I decided to move to Australia to learn another language: English.
I'm thrilled to be involved in the process of designing, building, and releasing software that solves customer problems.
In my previous roles at Compuware, Atlassian, Reserve Bank of Australia, ABN Amro, and a startup, I've contributed to and learned how enterprise software is built. I'm interested in being hands-on and contributing to the software development lifecycle.

Lia Acierto

HR/Recruitment Manager

I am Lia, building relationships is one of the key things that I am very passionate about. Meeting new people, learning new things - not really an IT person but I have grown to love IT and learned a lot from it, and creating new relationships are things that I love being in Darumatic.
I started off as a BDM from my previous employee, working on the whole operations from training, recruitment, account management, client management and all things needed to make the business grow. I met Adrian there as a client and I guess we hit it off and took me as a recruitment manager when the company went down.
I started with Darumatic on Feb 2022, a little bit at the height of pandemic and lock downs, Darumatic believed that I will be a good addition to the team. We slowly rebuilt the recruitment team, from hiring new talents to revamping the recruitment system, recreating the process, building a new and efficient recruitment workflow to having continuous learning with the team.
Darumatic has lead me to learn new things and unleash my full potential as a person and I am looking forward to build new relationships with the team.

Fernando Oliva MSc

I am Fernando, a Change Leadership/Organizational Development professional. My passion for enabling people performance and sustainable growth started when I was working with a team of coaches and consultants. Adrian Martinez

Solutions Architect

I am Adrian, a Solutions Architect with more than 15 years of experience in IT. My expertise spans across development and high-level management, and I consistently receive exceptional feedback from clients and stakeholders for my work at Service NSW as a consultant at Darumatic.
Throughout my career, I have worked on a range of exciting projects, including serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Service NSW, managing the rebuild of the GetCreditScore website as a Senior Software Developer at Equifax, and leading the IT team at GetCreditScore.com.au. I have also worked as a .NET software engineer, technical lead, and independent .NET C# software consultant for international companies like Lacoste and Thomson Reuters.
My technical skills include web frontend development with ReactJS, NodeJS, and AngularJS, as well as backend development with .NET C#, NodeJS, and GoLang. I have experience working with platforms such as AWS, Windows Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure DevOps. Additionally, I have experience in project management, Agile methodologies, and presenting business cases to stakeholders.
Currently, I am a Solutions Architect at Darumatic, where I am responsible for implementing Apigee proxies, architecting microservices solutions using K8S on AWS, and building APIs with Node and frontends with ReactJs.

Mariano Carpentier

Solutions Architect

I am Mariano, an experience Solutions Architect at Darumatic. Previously, I was a Senior Full Stack Developer at BenchVote and LawPath, where I designed and developed reusable features and maintained platform plugins using various technologies.
My journey started at Citi, where I developed an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) application and integrated it with Citibank's middlewares and Websphere platform. After that, I worked as a Java Technical Leader at ITResources, designing and leading the development of SOA applications for DIRECTV LatinAmerica and supporting legacy application refactor for SMG.
I started my career as a Software Engineer at MercadoLibre.com, where I maintained and enhanced core APIs and worked with various technologies. In 2014, I was a Senior Software Engineer at Pillar Digital, where I enhanced Tipping applications and integrated them with third-party APIs. In 2016, I started worked as a Full Stack Developer at Stackla, where I improved the Access Control List features, extended social media options for aggregation, and customized embeddable features for specific customers.
